The Mobile Affection App is a web application accessible by any device capable of rendering HTML and Javascript. The application is intended to create a controlled environment for each and every device to be presented at the same level. The application can be seen like a musical note being played by different instruments (devices), the beauty is how each device sounds different when performing the same application. A QR Code and reference to the application’s URL is available at every station.

PROCESS

Early developments of the mobile app explored using animated gifs to create rhythms or patterns. These experiments led to the creation of the Opera Station.

Earlier attempts involved breaking open an Apple iPhone and trying to find specific sound sources, and discovering the unique sounds of Javascript being rendered.
